What kind of stuff can I send
in for the big brown box?
First off, if it won't fit into the box, we're not going to accept it. That being said...
The whole point of this idea is to have some fun, so we really want you to consider sending us stuff that is unique or provides some type of direct value.
LIKE WHAT? GOT SOME EXAMPLES?...
Collectibles
Have a Pez dispenser that is worth $50 to a collecter. We'll take it.
Have a signed autograph of Elvis in blue velvet? Send it our way.
Business
Services
Are you a consultant or business who can give away a gift certificate
for work promised or anything like that? If so, we'll consider taking
it.
Examples: 12-months free web hosting, Web design package, Business coaching
consult, etc...
All you would have to do is send in a piece of paper stating the offer,
signed and dated.
Valuables
& Electronics
Got a pearl necklace that you want to give away, we'll take it. Want to
give us your laptop computer because your'e rich and you have another
one? Send it to us.

What kind of stuff DON'T
you want in the big brown box?
Here's some things we don't want you to send us please, and we will never accept.
1. Perishables -
That means all food (yes, even cans) & liquids.
If it has an expiration date, don't send.
2.
Drugs or ANYTHING illegal - If you send us something like that, we're
going to take it straight to the cops with your address attached.
3. Stolen Property - If we find out what you've sent us is stolen, we're going straight to the cops again, and you're busted!
4. Lame stuff - Look,
if it's lame, like maybe you sent us a box of thumbtacks or "jon
voight's pencil" or a rock from your driveway... we're not going
to put it in the box.

Am I donating these things I send
in for the big brown box?
Nope, you're giving them to us. Before you send us something you will check a box that means you understand that you're not donating anything to us, you're giving it to us as a gift, for free, without NO hopes of ever, ever, ever getting it , or ANYTHING back in return.
In other words, once you put it in the mail, you will never see it again. We may throw it out, and we may use it, but you'll never get it back. You gave it to us.
You will NOT be able to use it as a tax writeoff. Don't try.
You also agree that you're not promised to get anything in return. Nada.
No links back to
your site are guaranteed, or anything like that.

How do I know what you'll accept

You really don't.
We give no guarantees about what we'll decide to put in the box.

fill up & what will happen to it?
It fills up when we get enough high-quality stuff to put in it. Keep watching the home page for updates on the value of the box and how full it is.
As for what will happen to the big brown box after it's full? We're not sure, we may try to auction it off and give the winning money to charity, or we may decide to try and trade the big brown box and all the stuff in it for something of equal value.
